Private Consultations
We offer Private General Medical consultations with complete confidentiality. Appointments can usually be given on the same day. We will write to your regular GP only if you give your permission.
We can advise on general medical issues ranging from chest and throat infections and Kenalog Hay Fever injections, to more complex internal medical problems. Blood, urine and X ray tests can be arranged immediately as can ECG's. We can refer to our recommended specialists locally. MRI and CT scans can also be organised at short notice as can ultrasounds. Comprehensive medical investigation can be undertaken including admission to hospital if required. Our doctors have admitting rights to local hospitals.

We can offer a comprehensive diabetes screening service including screening for retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy (eyes, nerves and kidneys). We can also offer cardiac and lipid screening for people with diabetes, and refer to our own dietician. Treatment is available and we can advise on insulin therapy and oral medication. Measurement of glycosylated haemoglobin (Hba1c), triglycerides and proteinuria is a routine part of our screening.
Diet and Dietetic Advice
We have the services of a nutritional consultant who is qualified to give dietary advice including specialist situations such as renal or diabetic diets.
Cancer Screening
We have opened a new Cancer Screening Service which aims principally to detect Lung Cancer, Bowel Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer and Skin Cancer. We have the benefit of specialist advice in these areas.
Measles Mumps and Rubella vaccinations
Single vaccines available as three separate vaccinations. The Measles Vaccination is usually given at 13 Months followed 2-3 months later by the Mumps vaccination and then Rubella. All vaccines are manufactured by Aventis Pasteur of France and Merck Sharpe & Dohme of the USA. The Strain for Mumps is Jeryl Lynn, Measles is the Enders strain and Rubella is the Wistar strain.
